Our next R User Group meeting will be on Tuesday, May 5 at 4pm in Mann 102 and on Zoom (link).

Scientific results are often text-based and not easily reproduced. TIB Knowledge Loom is a digital library of analysis-ready code and figures to accompany scientific publications. This meeting will present a demo of the dtreg package and publishing code with this new digital library.

In this meeting, Adam Chandler will share approaches explored for streamlining a mature Rstudio project-based workflow. Presentation will also include example of accessing an SQL database for tidyverse-centric analysis.

In this meeting, Ryan Crawford will give an Introduction to targets for workflow management.

The R package targets is a powerful package that makes work safer and faster by keeping track of what tasks have been done and what tasks remain. This talk will introduce the package and show some basic functionality.

We’ll be having our first meeting of the semester on Tuesday, February 3 at 4pm in Mann 102 and on Zoom (link).

If you’ve ever had multiple plots that needed to go into the same figure, you know it can be difficult to get things looking right. The patchwork library makes this process much smoother - come learn about using the patchwork library to combine plots in intuitive ways.

December 4, 2025 meeting - tidymodels
